Reminder | Pages converted to new design All Pages have been transitioned to the new Page design. The Pages Transition Guide and the Help Center provide tips on how to leverage the new features for your business. New policies for custom apps on Pages Two new policies for custom apps have been added to the Facebook Platform Policies. To summarize the changes: apps on Pages cannot auto-play without people interacting with the app, and users must grant explicit permission for you to use analytics beyond those of your individual Page in order to customize their experience. Spending just 5 to 10 minutes a day responding to comments and posting updates on your Page keeps customers excited and talking about your business. The company got there by a strong call-to-action encouraging people to like to its Page to learn about "special promotions, fun facts and your chance to win coffee, trips and other exciting gifts." The brand took advantage of the targeting available on Facebook to direct its ads to people who were most likely to become potential customers, including people over 25 and people who had listed "coffee" in the "Likes and Interests" section of their Facebook profiles.
